This speculative design project interrogates anthropomorphism and persuasive design strategies in Conversational AI (CAI). The work combines a Vision-Language model with a Large Language Model to generate personalised, affectionate responses directed at audience members.
By positioning the audience as both subject and recipient, the piece exposes how emotionally charged language operates within contemporary CAI interfaces. It invites reflection on how such strategies shape our feelings, influence our behaviour, and potentially erode our sense of agency.
